On “Welcome Day,” the hotel “The Westin Grand” in the heart of Berlin will host us. The congress hotel is located at the corner of Unter den Linden and Friedrichstraße, right in the historic centre of the city. Only a short walk from the Brandenburg Gate, the State Library, and the Museum Island, it offers the perfect setting for an inspiring Book Week. A congress desk will be staffed in the hotel lobby throughout the entire congress.
Afternoon
Arrival and registration of congress participants at “The Westin Grand Berlin.” Opened in 1987, the luxury hotel has served as the backdrop for several Hollywood films, including “The Bourne Supremacy.”
Evening
In the evening, the festive Welcome Dinner will take place at the restaurant “Einstein” on Unter den Linden. It marks the opening of our four-day congress. Following the welcoming remarks, guests will have time to get to know each other and enjoy the first conversations over dinner.
